06/24/09 Day of surgeryIt has been 11 days since Paul had his third eye surgery. The doctor says it takes four to five weeks for the eyes to settle and then we will know how well the surgery worked. At this point after the previous surgeries I was very concerned. I was seeing all kinds of funny eye movement, things looked worst not better. This time, although not perfect, his eyes are straighter than I have ever seen them and working together better than I have ever seen them. So far I am pleased and hopeful that we have made steps forward. Time will tell.
